• Professionals (15% share of total employment)
• Tradespersons and related workers (15% share of total employment)
• Associate professionals (14% share of total employment)
• Elementary clerical, sales and service persons (12% share of total employment)

Employment Outlook: The Next Five Years

Employment growth prospects for the Fraser Coast region look positive, with property investment in coastal areas driving employment growth in construction and property services. Demand for health and community services and retail trade are expected to increase in line with population growth and growth in the number of retirees living in the area.
