The Queensland Mining Corridor begins 120 kilometres west of Gladstone and stretches 1,500 kilometres along Queensland's central and north-west regions. The Queensland Mining Corridor encompasses the five local government areas of Banana, Duaringa, Emerald, Peak Downs, and Mount Isa.
